Games and Sports

The adage ‘healthy mind in a healthy body’ is followed at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Shivpuri.

The objectives are :

To develop the physical faculties of the students :
To ensure mass participation of the students :
To spot out talent and nurture it :
To develop spirit of sportsmanship and leadership qualities:
Therefore the school is fully geared to cater to the sporting needs of the students. Basket ball court,Badminton court, volley ball court, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi grounds and the Table Tennis room are some of the sporting facilities at the school.

Arrangements have also been made for training for different games under the supervision of well qualified coaches.

6. Sports Day - 2009 in the month of December.
